RANDOM ELEMENTS is a project Kimo Easterwood started one year ago. These pieces are composites made entirely of photographs, including the writing seen in some images. Up to 30 photos are layered one upon the other with adjustments to color and opacity. The art work is then printed on canvas, stretched, hand-embellished, editioned and signed. From start to finish, most pieces take months to complete. This project is a work in progress and is a new direction for Kimo as a photographic artist.
