Far beyond the hectic concrete jungle of modern life there exists a parallel reality, an unspoiled world where people still see and feel things in their purest and most innocent forms.
Photographer Sacha Dean Bïyan began this project seven years ago as a result of his lifelong fascination with tribal cultures and his commitment to raise people's awareness of basic human rights issues. Delving into their customs and beliefs, he began to focus on the Spiritus Mundi - an archetypal concept, which throughout the history of mankind has symbolized a mysterious and vital force that connects all living things.
