Somewhere in L.A. is a book of photos taken by 10 Santa Monica College students as part of a unique project with the J. Paul Getty Museum.
The book and exhibit have emerged from a special project undertaken last fall by the Getty in Brentwood in which students from SMC worked with renowned photographer Alex Harris taking pictures of Venice and other parts of Los Angeles resulting in the A&I book and exhibit.
The SMC students are Erika Alghafari, Patricia Alpizar, Fabiola Arias, Eleanore Atkins, Nelson Castro, Jessica Domino, Shannon Donnelly, Kyosti Kauppinen, Sarah St. Clair Renard and Moira Stinocher.
